AFTERBUCKET ???
To understand the notion of "AFTERBUCKET"
it might be useful to first study the illustration of the
Pre-AFTERBUCKET Man pictured above.
Here you see the image of a man with a true problem and a bad idea of how to go about solving this problem.
His head is in a bucket while posterior region is aflame.
Sadly, this can serve as a metaphor for far too many situations that one might encounter as one makes one's way through the world.
Look around and you will likely see an abundance of examples of your fellow human beings involved in Pre-AFTERBUCKET thought and activities. Friends, family, co-workers, elected officials(!!!) and strangers alike, it seems that no one is immune. Quite likely if you look closely enough, you might even find you your own self to be immersed in one or more pre-AFTERBUCKET reality tunnels that slow you down and drain precious energies.
So what is AFTERBUCKET then?
AFTERBUCKET is an aspiration.
A statement of intent and the active desire to move beyond the way of thinking or style of living that might lead to Pre-AFTERBUCKET situations such as the one being demonstrated by the fellow in the illustration.
We here at AFTERBUCKET Central have dedicated ourselves to the goal of living truly AFTERBUCKET lives.
Though all too frequently we may still open our eyes to find ourselves falling far short of this goal, we feel certain and sure as can be that any movement we can make toward that direction is important progress indeed.
For Mr. Saylor, the production of the recorded collection of his songs "The AFTERBUCKET Experience" seems to have been a very positive step towards his eventual emergence as an AFTERBUCKET Man.
Mr. Saylor and all of us in the ever-expanding AFTERBUCKET Organization greatly appreciate your support of this AFTERBUCKET project.
Perhaps you have an AFTERBUCKET project of your own that deserves attention. Perhaps if you open your eyes and remove your head from whatever bucket confines your thought and hinders your progress, you might allow your little light to shine a bit more brightly and in so doing, make the world a better place. You might even find (as we certainly have found!) that there are many Good People willing to help you in your efforts. We wish you the best of luck.
